Medical Emergency Fund for Mao

Behind Mao's big golden eyes lies a tale of recent suffering. In addition to being beat up by other cats, the outdoor boy suffered a terrible injury to his leg. Mao was brought to us so he could get the urgent help he desperately needed.

Rushed to an animal hospital for an examination, Mao's medical team carefully looked him over. X-rays revealed a terrible break in his leg, necessitating surgery to remove the leg to alleviate his pain. Pain management was administered, and the sweet cat was closely monitored at the vet until his surgery date. While in for his amputation, Mao was neutered. He is now resting and focusing on his recovery.

Although Mao is in discomfort and not quite himself right now, his underlying loving nature is evident. He's slowly showing us his true colours, and Mao is an absolute lovebug. Will you share your kindness with Mao to help him fully heal?

Personal updates for Mao will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.

*Goal includes: Amputation surgery, recheck appointments, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Mao until he is ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals
