Medical Emergency Fund Page for Jeff
Emaciated, vomiting, and unable to eat, Jeff was in desperate need of medical care. Animal Protection Officers rushed the young pup to an animal hospital by for an emergency exam.
Once under the care of his dedicated medical team, they suspected that there was a foreign object blocking the young pup's intestines. He was taken in for emergency surgery where his team discovered a piece of rubber that had damaged a section of his intestines and eventually become stuck. The rubber as well as the damaged intestines were removed to relieve the poor boy of his suffering. After losing so much weight, Jeff requires a careful refeeding plan during his recovery to help him slowly and safely gain much needed weight. Now under the attentive care of a medical foster, Jeff is focused on his healing journey.
Despite his painful ordeal, Jeff is a friendly young guy. He absolutely adores chin rubs and treatos. Will you share your love with Jeff to help him on his long road to recovery?
Personal updates for Jeff will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.
*Goal includes: Foreign object removal surgery, IV fluids, refeeding plan, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Jeff until he is ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals
