Young Golden Retriever, Ember, is grappling with a rare condition effecting his shoulder.

X-rays revealed abnormal development of the cartilage on the end of the bone in Ember's right shoulder, with the cartilage separating from the underlying bone. Ember requires surgery to repair the issue, and reduce his pain and stiffness. The pup is on pain management to keep him comfortable and has restricted activity until his surgery date. 

Although he's not feeling his best, Ember is so full of love and affection. He's a big fan of cuddles on the couch with his foster family and playing with his toys. Will you help Ember get the surgery and care he needs so he can frolic pain-free? 

Personal updates for Ember will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.

*Goal includes: Shoulder surgery, x-rays, medication, neuter surgery and daily care for Ember until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
