Medical Emergency Fund Page for Lt. Dan

In a tragic accident, Lt. Dan was struck by a vehicle, leaving him unable to walk. Thankfully, a kind rescuer recognized rushed him to the emergency vet.

Dan's medical team took x-rays of his back end to determine the cause of his pain, revealing multiple fractures in his leg. His vet recommended amputation to give him the best chance at a pain-free life. Lt. Dan needed to remain hospitalized, receiving medication and careful monitoring before he could undergo surgery.

Despite his suffering, this young Labrador mix has remained easy-going throughout his treatments and has been a joy to have at the vet clinic. He's now working on his recovery and adjusting to life on three legs. Will you help Lt. Dan take his next steps?

Personal updates for Lt. Dan will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

*Goal includes: Emergency veterinary care, x-rays, amputation surgery, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Lt. Dan until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals
