Medical Emergency Fund Page for Gary
This adorable ginger boy faced a frightening ordeal outdoors, dragging his hind end in pain. It's unknown how Gary endured the injury but he clearly needed urgent medical attention.
Once he was under medical care, Gary was given pain medication and underwent x-rays revealing a hip fracture. Initially, he was prescribed strict cage along with a regime of medication to keep him comfortable in hopes of natural healing. After follow-up checks and x-rays, it was clear the fracture is not healing properly. Gary will need a Femoral Head Ostectomy surgery so that he can live pain-free.
Despite his injury, this young boy is full of energy. He's incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle.
Personal updates for Gary will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.
*Goal includes: FHO surgery, x-rays, medications, and daily care for Gary until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
