Frank the Tank was found roaming the streets all alone! This big guy needs the care of a specialized vet to help him regain his health.

The large tortoise was transferred to a BC SPCA Animal Centre close to a vet who could properly care for Frank. His medical team found that he is suffering from shell rot, requiring a thorough cleaning. Frank didn't have much of an appetite upon arrival, possibly due to stress. He was placed in a nurturing foster home where now receives a balanced diet and engaging enrichment activities to support his recovery and overall well-being.

Like many tortoises, Frank the Tank enjoys basking in the sun and ramming into things. He is already a big guy, and he's only going to get bigger! Once Frank's ready, he will be looking for a very specific home where he will have his needs met. Will you share your kindness today with this unique creature?

Personal updates for Frank the Tank will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
