Medical Emergency Fund Page for Riley

At a mere 5 weeks old, little Riley was struck by a vehicle, leaving her with devastating injuries. Luckily, a group of kind young animal lovers discovered her on the side of the highway and brought her in for care.

Overwhelmed by fear, the poor little Riley arrived hissing and growling. She was taken to the vet and her medical team got to work on her immediately. They took x-rays of her body which showed the underweight kitten was suffering from a broken tibia and fibula. She was sedated and splinted in attempt to save the leg. Riley was placed in foster care where she the thin kitten has been bottle-fed and nursed back to health. She needs her splint changed every week, reassessment x-rays and pain control to ensure she is comfortable while she grows and heals.

With tender love and care, this fearful kitten has started to come around. She now purrs when she sees her fosters parent. Riley is more and more affectionate each day and is transforming into an adorable little lovebug.

Personal updates for Riley will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: X-rays, cast changes, medications, spay surgery and daily care for Riley until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
