Medical Emergency Fund Page for Bob
This gentle old soul was discovered wandering all alone, emaciated, with frostbitten ears and a massive wound on his face. Thankfully, his kind rescuer brought him in for immediate care.
Bob was rushed to the emergency vet where his medical team quickly sedated him so they could give his deep wound a thorough cleaning. The infected cheek wound was so severe that his cheek had to be removed to save him from further pain and discomfort. Bob needs regular bandage changes, wound monitoring, and regular pain relief to help him heal. On top of all that, the poor old guy has broken teeth and needs oral surgery to remove them, but first he needs to gain his strength. A careful refeeding plan has been put in place to ensure safe weight gain.
After everything Bob has been through, it’s incredible he is still such a loving cat. Everyone who has met this old gentleman has instantly fallen in love. As Bob continues to heal, his curiosity and affectionate nature are beginning to shine through. Bob still has a way to go, but he's making great progress.
Personal updates for Bob will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: Surgery, wound debridement, oral surgery, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Bob until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
