Medical Emergency Fund Page for Promise
Who knows how long this poor young horse has been in pain? Promise was rescued with multiple wounds on her legs and severely underweight, it's amazing that she survived.
Once in our care, Promise was rushed to emergent vet care to be looked over. Upon examination, it was clear that the wound on her front leg was severe and contaminated with debris. Additionally, she had two large, infected wounds on her back legs, which understandably hindered her ability to walk comfortably. Promise was put on a treatment plan right away. Her vet prescribed pain control, antibiotics, wound debridement, and regular bandage changes.
Promise has been so patient through her bandage changes and treatments. Her kind and gentle demeanour shines through when handled. We can't wait for more of her personality to come out as she gains her strength and starts to feel better.
Personal updates for Promise will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
*Goal includes: Emergency vet care, wound dressings, medications and daily care for Promise until she's ready for adoption. her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
