Medical Emergency Fund Page for Elfie

Elfie the Labrador Retriever was left with a severely injured back end after being struck by a vehicle. The poor girl needed urgent medical attention.

She was rushed to the emergency vet for a thorough assessment. Her medical team discovered a severe fracture in her hind leg that would need specialized surgery to repair. They devised a plan to use plates and pins to save her leg and give her the best chance at a full recovery. The pup will need round-the-clock veterinary care followed by weeks of recovery in a foster home to ensure her healing.

Throughout her treatments, Elfie has been so patient and friendly with everyone at the clinic. She is such a snuggle bug and finds comfort having her stuffed animal companions nearby while she rests. We can’t wait to find this sweet girl a home once she’s back on four paws and feeling her best.

Personal updates for Elfie will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: Leg surgery, 24 hour vet care, and daily care for Elfie until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
