Medical Emergency Fund Page for Teenie

When Teenie, the gentle giant Mastiff arrived, she was clearly in need of urgent help, with a greasy, flea-infested coat and a high fever. Our hearts broke to see her so painfully scared and lethargic.

Teenie was rushed to the vet immediately and her medical team sprang into action. They discovered that she had pneumonia, an elevated heart rate, and suspected sepsis. Teenie was started on antibiotics, supportive fluids, pain management, and loving supportive care. The big pup was kept at the clinic for a few days for close monitoring. We’re so thankful she made it to the clinic in time, her vet suspects that she wouldn’t have survived another couple of days without intervention.

Despite her rough start, Teenie’s sweet nature is starting to show. She’s been so gentle throughout her care and she’s starting to trust humans more and more. Now she’s even following staff around with little tail wags to show she’s happy. We can’t wait for this big girl to feel healthy and safe in this world.

Personal updates for Teenie will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: Round the clock veterinary care, x-rays, blood tests, medication, spay surgery and daily care for Teenie until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
