Medical Emergency Fund Page for Wicket

Little Wicket, an adorable Yorkshire Terrier mix, has been suffering from multiple health issues. He arrived with hair loss on his tail, missing toes, and with a lot of pain in his mouth.

The little man was rushed to the vet for examination. After a thorough check up, including x-rays and bloodwork, his medical team recommended an oral surgery to alleviate his pain. While they are uncertain about the cause of the hair loss on his tail, they suspect it may be a result of a flea allergy or Cushing’s disease. Fortunately, Wicket’s blood work showed no concerning signs, but the team recommended a recheck of his blood in a couple of weeks. Wicket’s missing toes are a result of congenital defects, thankfully they aren’t causing him pain, but he may need a set of little booties for longer walks in future.

Despite his medical issues, Wicket is a calm and quiet little man who adores keeping people company. He happily wiggles his bum in excitement when greeting his people, and he has been an exemplary patient throughout his vet visits. We are hopeful that after his surgery and care, Wicket will soon be feeling his best. We can’t wait to see him living a pain-free, happy life!

Personal updates for Wicket will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

*Goal includes: oral surgery, blood tests, medication, x-rays, neuter and daily care for Wicket until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
