Medical Emergency Fund Page for Lyle

This 10-month-old kitty has been through a terrible ordeal. Lyle arrived with a horrendous injury to his back right leg, suspected to have been caused by a cow.

We're not certain if he was kicked or stepped on, but he needed urgent care. His medical team took x-rays of his injury which revealed that his femur had been dislocated. Unfortunately, the dislocation was so severe that it was not possible to fix the femur. Lyle needed a full leg amputation to relieve his pain and ensure he could live a pain-free life.

Despite the intense pain Lyle experienced, he has remained a calm and sweet cat throughout his exams. He has even purred through most of his treatments, showing his appreciation for the care he's receiving.

Personal updates for Lyle will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

*Goal includes: Amputation surgery, pain medications, x-rays, and daily care for Lyle until he's ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
