This group of young husky mixes arrived in our care in a terrible state – covered in dirt, lice and their fur was matted. These shy pups were malnourished, and it took a while for our staff to earn their trust to help them alleviate their pain and discomfort.

All the pups had red and irritated skin, but one stood out, Pepper, who was particularly uncomfortable with numerous skin sores and irritations. To help him heal, Pepper was prescribed an ointment for his skin lesions, antibiotics, antifungals, medicated shampoo, and a special diet.

It's been heartwarming to witness the pups' transformation from hiding and cowering to playing and seeking human attention. Pepper, in particular, loves to play and take long naps. He’s learning to enjoy baths because of the gentle body massages feel so nice.

Personal updates for Pepper will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

*Goal includes: antifungals, medicated shampoo for Pepper and his siblings, medications, neuter, and daily care until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
