Medical Emergency Fund Page for Jude

This senior boy has been through a traumatic experience after being hit by a car. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan brought him to a nearby vet clinic where he could receive the medical attention he desperately needed.

When Jude arrived at the clinic, pain management was administered immediately and the medical team checked him over. Upon examination they discovered that Jude had a fractured pelvis, requiring strict cage rest to allow for healing. Unfortunately, his injuries were more severe than initially thought, and Jude needed surgery to remove a urinary blockage caused by the trauma. The veterinary team also discovered that he has early-stage kidney disease, which was intensified by his injury. On top of this, poor Jude became extremely constipated, potentially a result of all the pain medication and stress. Jude requires close monitoring, pain medication, ongoing bloodwork, and a lot of love the help him feel comfortable.

Despite the pain and stress he has endured, Jude remains one of the most loving and gentle animals that we have ever met. He is an absolute cuddle bug and loves everyone he meets. The endless love that Jude gives is awe-inspiring, and we can’t help but feel touched by his trust in us.

Personal updates for Jude will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medications, and daily care for Jude until he’s ready for adoption. If his  medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
