Medical Emergency Fund Page for Winifred

Senior Scottish terrier mix, Winifred, came to us after years of neglect. This poor girl spent most of her time in a kennel and because of this she has a number of health concerns.

Upon arrival, her skin was irritated and inflamed and the smell of her breath was horrific. Once Winifred was given a good bath to help sooth her skin, it was time to take a look in her mouth. The poor thing had severe dental disease that had been left untreated for some time. She was in desperate need of oral surgery to relieve her from the pain she had been forced to live with.

Despite her discomfort, Winifred is such an angel. She has bonded closely with her foster mom’s daughter. They are nearly the same age and they do everything together. We’re so glad this little one is finally being shown love while she works on getting healthy.

Personal updates for Winifred will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: medication, oral surgery, and daily care for Winifred until she’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
