Medical Emergency Fund Page for Kola

When Kola, the 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel arrived in our care, she was in great discomfort. The poor dear was battling a chronic UTI, likely caused by her bladder stones. 

Little Kola was in need of antibiotics, x-rays and a urinalysis. She will need bladder surgery to help her start feeling her best again. On top of all this, Kola requires an oral surgery to have painful teeth extracted. Kola's breed is of great concern to vets as they are often bred for looks over health concerns resulting in serious health issues. Keep in mind not all Cavalier King Charles Spaniels will develop health issues like Kola has, but it’s important to be aware of.

Despite being under medical care, Kola is such a bubbly, happy dog. She loves having her ears cleaned, bath time, and any other attention she can get from her humans. The sweet girl has won the hearts of everyone she meets with her loving personality. She’s enjoying the comforts of her foster home while she awaits her surgeries.

Personal updates for Kola will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: medication, surgery, special diet and daily care for Kola until she’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
