Medical Emergency Fund Page for Porter

Nine-week-old Great Pyrenees puppy Porter is adorable with her big fluffy coat and bubbly personality. But underneath, she's dealing with some worrying health issues.

She has grown up with her siblings in our care, and starting very early on, shelter staff noticed that Porter was a little different. She's got amazing spirit, but it became more and more evident that she has been having problems with her vision. She's extra clumsy, even for a puppy, and that can mean concerning underlying issues. Shelter staff brought her to the vet for examination, and they've recommended that Porter gets special ophthalmology and neurological diagnostic tests, to rule out something more serious. Since she's still so young, it's important to get these tests done as soon as possible to make sure she is getting the best care plan to help her grow strong and healthy.

In the meantime, Porter is loving her foster family and is becoming more comfortable with her familiar surroundings. She's a total sweetheart who loves playing with her sisters and getting attention from anyone who will cuddle her.

Personal updates for Porter will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: neurological and ophthalmology diagnostic tests, vaccinations, spay, and daily care for Porter until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
