Medical Emergency Fund Page for Georgia

One look in Georgia's eyes and you can just see her pain.

Poor girl was found in a desperate state, unmoving near the side of the road. She was in pain and in shock, having been hit by a car and left helpless. Luckily, a kind rescuer stopped to help bring Georgia to the vet. Georgia had to be brought in by animal control officers on a stretcher.

The vets were able to assess the damage - a fractured front leg, internal bruising and a pretty severe wound on her leg. They got right to work on pain management and wound management plans to ensure proper healing of Georgia's injuries. One component of her care is bandage changes three times per day to prevent infection in the large wound. It's not an easy road to recovery but it will help Georgia be more comfortable moving forward.

These injuries must have been excruciating for Georgia, but she has remained calm and friendly through all of her treatments, knowing she was finally safe.

Personal updates for Georgia will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: emergency vet care, pain and wound management, recovery and daily care for Georgia until she is ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
