Medical Emergency Fund Page for Ebeny

When Ebeny the mini poodle arrived in our care, it was obvious that something was wrong. She refused to bear weight on her left hind leg, and generally seemed uncomfortable. Shelter staff made an appointment to bring her to the vet right away for examination.

The vet team discovered that sweet Ebeny has a painful leg injury in one of her hind legs that has been making it difficult for her to walk. It's also likely been causing her quite a bit of discomfort and pain when she tries to move around, poor thing! This particular injury needs to be corrected with surgery, and surgery requires the skills of an orthopedic specialist. After Ebeny gets her treatment, she'll need a fair bit of monitored rest and recovery at her quiet foster home to make sure her leg heals properly.

Despite the pain that she has been in, Ebeny is such a sweet little dog. She absolutely loves being in the company of people, and we are sure that her playful side will emerge even more once she's had the surgery she needs to live pain-free.

Personal updates for Ebeny will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: specialist surgery, pain management, recovery and daily care for Ebeny until she is ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
