Medical Emergency Fund Page for Tyson
Young labrador-mix, Tyson, has his head permanently tilted to the side and is constantly shaking it - poor boy is struggling with a major ear problem. He's in so much discomfort that he's showing no interest in going outside or for walks, not regular lab behaviour at all.
Tyson has a deep, painful laceration in one of his ears. He was rushed in to the vet for stitches to close the wound, but his ear is still inflamed and swollen. It's painful even to touch.
Unfortunately this loving boy needs a major surgery because of the condition of his ear - removal of his ear canal! It's a large procedure and requires a specialist and a number of pre-checks before they can operate. He'll also need extensive care after, pain medication, rest and monitoring.
Tyson is such a lovely boy and he is truly a champ. Despite the pain he has been in, he has been so brave throughout this whole experience. Tyson loves to be around people and will glue himself to your leg. He is always happy, even though he is clearly in pain and discomfort. He is calm and loving and wags his tail with happiness as soon as he sees you. There is not a mean bone in his body.
Will you help this sweet boy get the specialized surgery he needs?
Personal updates for Tyson will be provided to anyone who donates to his care.
*Goal includes: specialized surgery, aftercare, continued medical care and vaccines for Tyson until he is ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care are less than is raised in his name, any additional funds will provide care for other animals.
