Medical Emergency Fund Page for Gin

Animal lovers who take action when they notice an animal who's suffering, save lives like Gin's. When a rescuer brings an animal in for urgent care, they are giving them a second chance at life. The bond between rescuer and animal is so heartwarming to see. It's as if an animal like Gin knows they are finally getting the care they need.

Gin had been huddled, scared and alone when he was found by his kind rescuer, who thankfully noticed him and brought him in for care. Gin was immediately brought to the vet team for examination with a suspected injury in one of his back legs. Using x-rays to get a closer look, it turned out Gin had a major fracture in one of his legs, and would need specialized surgery and care. He had most likely been hit by a vehicle.

Gin was so brave when he came into care, it was hard to tell that he was in pain because he was just so sweet and trusting. In reality, this kind of broken bone must have been almost excruciating for him.

Gin is currently getting round-the-clock care and pain management while he waits for his leg surgery. Despite this terrible injury, Gin has been nothing but the sweetest boy, always purring - he seems to know that he is getting the care he needs. Shelter staff have totally fallen in love with him and we know he will make such an amazing family member when he's finished his treatments.

*Goal includes: x-rays, surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Gin until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
