Medical Emergency Fund Page for Elizabeth
Elizabeth, a senior sweetie found wandering down a busy road, was in a shocking way when she first arrived. She was over-weight, had a matted coat, flaky skin, dirty, waxy ears, discolouration in her eye, with several teeth missing. She was clearly very stressed, poor old girl.
Elizabeth has been having a rough time. Her eye issues seem to be from an older injury and we've had to run various tests to check her general health as well. She has early kidney disease and the vet is concerned her blind eye is cancerous too.
Despite it all, this kitty is a sweet girl who loves attention. She enjoys chatting to you and LOVES treats and head pats. She's relaxed into her care after her initial stress and is now nothing more than the queen of her namesake.
This senior girl needs surgery to remove her eye as well as oral surgery to help her eat pain-free again. She's also needed extensive testing, medications, and some much needed love and care.
Will your kindness show this senior sweetie that she matters? Even after some many years of neglect.
Personal updates for Elizabeth will be provided to anyone who donates to her care.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Elizabeth until she's ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
