Senior boy, Dante, was a stray in bad shape when he was found... He was SUPER itchy, covered in fleas and open wounds. His tail and left ear were red raw and bleeding, his ears were yeasty and his oral health very bad, including gingivitis.

Dante can be sassy, but there isn't a happier dog out there! His tail never stops wagging and he is constantly smiling, despite his bad health and condition. He LOVES all people and gets along well with doggie friends too.

Dante has been going through a laundry list of treatments: bloodwork, urinalysis, oral surgery, a specialized diet, treatments for his ears, ointments and carefully medicated baths while his skin has been healing. He's also needed an extensive groom to find the adorable boy he is underneath his scruffy, dirty coat.

This senior sweetie has been patience and cheery throughout it all. Truly amazing how resilient this pup has been!
