Meet senior Smidget! As you can see, this older girl was suffering with a badly weeping eye. Her eye lid had become inverted causing her lashes to scratch her eyeball, making ever blink painful.

Smidget has become a very sweet lady in care. When she first came in she was very unhappy with being given eye medications but with time and using low stress handling techniques, she's now realized we are helping her and relieving her pain. She loves to be around her people, happily greets you when you arrive in her room and enjoys her pets. She really is a senior sweetie!

Smidget has need entropian surgery in her left eye, as well as medications, a major follow up to determine if her corneal ulcer is healing properly and ointments for her eye. Alongside all of this, she also needed oral surgery because of the state of her mouth health.

Smidget still has her golden years ahead. She deserves to live them free from pain. Please show her your generosity by contributing to her care.

Personal updates for Smidget will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Smidget until she's ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
