Medical Emergency Fund Page for Little Foot
Poor Little Foot came into the care of the BC SPCA after being hit by a car on a very busy road. He was scared, matted, underweight, and not surprisingly, in immense pain. A veterinary check showed this young kitten had suffered a fractured hip and several broken toes.
Little Foot was on IV's and intensive care for a week before his medical team was sure he was stable enough for surgery. Poor little guy - when the cast went on it was practicaly the same size as Little Foot!
As he's growing, the cast is looking smaller and smaller but careful recovery and biweekly check ins are required to make sure that one day Little Foot can run, jump and play other young cat. While Little Foot's start in life has been a scary one, he is still a vocal and confident little guy who is not afraid to tell the humans around him what he wants. He loves attention and doesn't want to let a huge cast slow him down.
If you want to help Little Foot see the day where he can bound across his forever home cast-free, please consider donating towards his surgery and rehabilitative care today.
Personal updates on Little Foot's progress will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health checks, and daily care for Little Foot until he's ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals in need.
