Medical Emergency Fund Page for Lilly

Lilly is a bit of a medical marvel!

This beautiful little kitty came into care because she was extra noisy - she would howl and howl but no one could figure out why. She was suspiciously extra noisy when put into the shelter in a room parallel to one of our male cats who was waiting for their neuter.

Upon inspection, it was hard to say if Lilly, this 10 year old cat, had ever been spayed. We took her to our vet, who recommended an ultrasound. The ultrasound revealed she had some major abdominal abnormalities, including a left over ovary, uterine stump pyometra and surrounding cysts. Her reproductive organs were a mess! In order to relieve her pain, and correct her spay, these will need to be surgically removed.

Lilly has captured the hearts of many of our staff and fosters. One evening, from the dog section one of our most dedicated dog walkers heard her howls from rooms away. She was intrigued by this curiously noisy cat. When she met the very friendly tortie, she fell in love and offered to take her home to foster her.

We can't wait to meet the Lilly that is comfortable in her own skin, we are sure she will still have things to say! Donate to this beautiful senior lady to give her a fresh start free from her ongoing pain.

Personal updates for Lilly will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Lilly until she's ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
