Medical Emergency Fund Page for Matilda

Young kitty, Matilda, arrived with a badly broken leg. Her femur was fractured through the growth plate leaving a painful floating piece at the femoral head, where it connects in the hip joint. It was a complex break which meant many risks involved in trying to repair the broken leg. Our vet team therefore decided it was best for Matilda to amputate her leg instead.

She's needed major surgery, pain medication and post-care including carefully watching her while she's healing. Thankfully she's been in a loving foster home during her recovery where she can focus on getting better.

Despite being in considerable pain, Matilda is the sweetest! Her adorable white whiskers and fluffy face are hard to resist. She's gentle, affectionate and playful. Her first night in her foster home after surgery she was so relaxed and feeling so much better that she even started playing!

Personal updates for Matilda will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Lady Grey until she's ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
