Medical Emergency Fund Page for Chuck & Stu
These adorable, chocolate Labrador pups have had a tough start in life. They were found in horrifying conditions, living in a trailer with a number of animals with little space and no access to food or water. As part of an emergency intake, they arrived in our branch where we've been working hard to get their health back.
When Chuck and Stu arrived with their five other siblings they were lethargic, dehydrated and had clearly been living in an unsanitary home. Their tiny bodies were riddled with parasites, and they were struggling to eat, which is why these two needed extra special medical care.
We rushed these babies to the vet where they received 48hrs of emergency care on IV fluids, as well as bloodwork and ultrasounds to ensure we weren't missing anything. Because of their severe anemia, one will require repeat bloodwork and both will undergo neutering before we can find them a family where they can receive the love they deserve.
Chuck and Stu are the sweetest little bundles of fur with so much love to give. We know they're going to make great family members as soon as they're feeling better!
Please show your kindness to these little puppies today by donating towards their care. No pup should start life like they had to.
Personal updates for Chuck and Stu will be provided to anyone who donates to their campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Chuck and Stu until they're ready for adoption. If their medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in their name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
