Medical Emergency Fund Page for Otis
Otis has a urinary blockage, a life threatening emergency. The medical treatment needed is a surgery to remove his urethral obstruction. He was also diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cysitis :(
The vets say he will fully recover from the surgery but that there is an 80% chance that he will re-obstruct and will need to be on a urinary diet moving forward.
Otis is a sweet, fun-loving, affectionate and playful little cat. He is a laid-back guy and a total snuggler. Urinary blockages can easily be a fatal condition and this cute and cuddly guy deserves the very best that life has to offer.
The cost covers the IV fluids, hospitalization, X-rays, anesthetic, sedation, monitoring, bladder flush, catheter, blood panel testing, urinalysis, and medications (propofol, midazolam, lidocaine, teva prazosin, buprenorphine, cerenia, ampicillin)
Personal updates for Otis will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Otis until he's ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, any additional funds will provide care for other animals.
