Sweet, kind, gentle seniors can often by overlooked. It's the sad truth. But later in an animals's life is when they need the most love and care, especially animals who are suffering from trauma if they were rescued or their owner has passed away.

Would you overlook a traumatized senior in need of love?

When an older animal arrives at our doors, we know they are likely to be suffering from a senior health condition. Ageing is not always kind to us all! Oral issues and daily pain when eating, joint difficulties and uncomfortable stiffness, mysterious lumps and bumps that need investigation, the list goes on.

It's not always possible for us to prepare ahead for these animals who need immediate care when they arrive to the safety of one of our shelters. That's where we need people like you to show their love for these older ladies and gents! They require specialized attention, extended care and an extra effort to find them the perfect forever home where they can live out the rest of their years in peace, surrounded by love.
