Medical Emergency Fund Page for Baffi in East Kootenay

Baffi is an incredible survivor! When shelter staff saw this beautiful, grey tabby on the property where she was living with many other cats, she immediately approached as if she knew they were there to help. She was clearly in a lot of pain and obviously extremely lame on her right front leg. Once she came into care she was examined by the vet and x-rays showed that her elbow was badly dislocated.

Sweet Baffi must have been in agony for at least a few months, because her elbow had been dislocated for some time. Because her injuries were not addressed at the time when she needed, unfortunately her elbow couldn't be shifted back into place and there was no other option but to amputate her leg.

This stoic kitty is so sweet and affectionate, she immediately won over all the shelter staff! Considering her trauma and living with such a painful injury in terrible conditions before she was rescued, she is the most loving cat! Once she's fully recovered from her surgery, she'll be ready to find a new family and settle into a forever home.

Please show Baffi the love she deserves by donating towards her treatment and surgery.

Personal updates for Baffi will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Baffi until she's ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
