Four-year-old German Shepherd mix, Archer, is the sweetest boy! He came into care with a worrying toe injury making everyday walking around painful for this poor pup.

Part of his toe was missing already, likely because of a tumour, and there is concern about where else it could have spread. He'll need x-rays and bloodwork to check the extent of the damage and then surgery to remove the painful toe, so he can enjoy running and playing again! Once he's feeling better, we'll be looking for Archer's forever home where he can get the love he deserves.

He is a real cutie! He likes to put his head in your hand, and will gently take your hand in his mouth if you stop petting him even for a second!
