Sweet Soldier really lives up to his name! A gentle senior who is proving to be a real trooper through his long recovery.

A good Samaritan found this stray in critical condition. A walking skeleton, just skin and bones, hobbling in pain due to his deteriorating hip joints. Soldier is a 10-year-old boy who was out fending for himself for who knows how long. When he arrived he was in desperate need of some love and specialized care!

Soldier will be put on a balanced diet to help him gain weight and he's also in need of a major hip surgery on both back legs so he can walk pain-free. This senior should be out enjoying the next stage of his life, rather than living as a shell of the kitty he really is. After his surgery, he'll be on strict crate rest to help him recover fully before we can find him the forever, loving home he deserves.

He is the sweetest cat, full of purrs and not a mean bone in his body!
