Pearl the piggie came in because someone spoke up about her obvious neglect. She was surrendered to an Animal Protection Officer so we could provide the care she urgently needs. Pearl has a broken leg and we aren't sure how long it's been that way. She is underweight and in much need of love and attention.

Thankfully, this little one is just 6 months old and will adapt to a leg amputation no problem. The vet has indicated this is the only treatment to make sure she has a pain free life going forward. 

She is a sweet guinea pig needing a second chance at life. Most people don't think twice about these sweet little companions and the rich lives they lead. They are such amazing pets and need the same care we offer our canine and feline friends. Please send some love to this adorable girl and donate towards her surgery today.
