Medical Emergency Fund Page for the 13 Cats & Kittens
Thirteen cats and kittens came into care when they were seized from a property where they were forced to live in unsanitary and crowded living conditions. All of these poor cats have so many medical issues they are suffering from. They are underweight, suffering from upper respiratory infections, internal parasites, hair loss, and wounds all over their little bodies.
Some of the adult cats in the group are also suffering from terrible oral disease from never having oral proper care. One cat named Meredith has what appears to have suffered a painful injury to her eye that has caused irreparable damage to her cornea. She will sadly need her right eye removed.
The three kittens in the group, Skeeter, Cricket, and Bumblebee had such bad upper respiratory infections that their eyes were glued shut with discharge from the infection.
Most of these sweet cats are under socialized with people, but they are coming around and responding very well to their Behavior Modification programs. Branch staff has seen huge progress in their behavior over the past couple of weeks and they are starting to enjoy being pet! Some of them have even discovered the joy of snuggling and look for an available lap to hang out on.
Meredith, Lexie, Miranda, Christina, Arizona, Amelia, April, McDreamy, McSteamy, Calliope, Skeeter, Cricket & Bumblebee will be in care for a few more months of treatments until they are completely healed from their medical issues, followed by neuters and spays for everyone as well as necessary vaccinations. Branch staff has no doubt that they will make amazing companions once they see how loving and pain-free life can be!
Will you show this adorable group the love they have been missing by donating to their care?
Personal updates for cats will be provided to anyone who donates to their campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for the cats until they are ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in their names, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
