Medical Emergency Fund Page for Archie

Archie is an adorable one-year-old flame point Ragdoll cat who came into emergency care with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, which means his bladder is extremely inflamed and he also had an obstruction. He was surrendered so he could get the costly medical care he needs.

His vet worked quickly to help relieve the obstruction by inserting a urinary catheter, followed by medications to help with urinary spasms and pain. Archie is on a special urinary diet to help his body process food properly.

On top of his urinary issues, Archie also had fleas all over his body, a stud tail, and some battle scars likely from other cats in his previous home. He’s receiving treatments for the fleas as well as his wounds thoroughly cleaned.

Archie is such a beautiful boy with his big blue eyes and he even has extra toes! This polydactyl guy is super sweet, affectionate, and is great for taking his medications. He’s been such a trooper throughout his ordeal and will make such a fun companion when he’s healed.

Archie requires a couple of weeks of recovery after his surgery before he can find a loving furever home. Will you help him?

Personal updates for Archie will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

*Goal includes surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Archie until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
