Medical Emergency Fund Page for Squeaky
Squeaky is a twelve-year-old cat who climbed into the undercarriage of a vehicle for safety and became stuck there. Thankfully, the vehicle's owner heard his tiny little squeaks and was able to free him from where he was trapped. They brought him in so he could get the care he needs.
Squeaky was not in the best shape. He had a urinary blockage and needed emergency surgery to remove it. He was saved right in time as his vets said his bladder was hours away from bursting!
This senior guy had to stay hospitalized for multiple days to ensure that his urine output was back to normal and it was safe to remove the catheter. He also doesn’t have the best oral health and it’s causing his gum tissue to lift, so he will require a procedure with extractions to relieve the pain.
Squeaky has more than stolen the hearts of branch staff. He has the most precious little meow (that is more of a squeak) and has the most gentle personality. He is a big snuggle bug and adores butt scratches and hugs!
Squeaky will make such an amazing companion when he is healed from his surgeries in about six weeks. Will you help him find his retirement home?
Personal updates for Squeaky will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.
*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Squeaky until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
