Thirteen-year-old Smoke hasn’t had an easy life. She recently arrived into care after being discovered abandoned at a shelter, clearly in need of someone to help her. This sweet lady has severe oral disease with painful lesions all over her mouth that are causing her pain when she tries to eat.

Smoke was also extremely dehydrated, very skinny, with fleas all over her body and cysts covering her ears! Many of the cysts have burst which would have been extremely painful for her. Smoke’s pain is being managed with medication while she waits for her oral surgery as well as receiving treatments to cauterize the painful cysts in her ears.

Smoke is so gorgeous and is becoming sweeter each day now that she’s on the road to recovery. She has quickly stolen the hearts of branch staff and has proved that she will be a loving companion when she’s ready to find her lucky retirement home!

This senior girl deserves to live the rest of her life pain-free. Will you help her by donating to her care?

Personal updates for Smoke will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Smoke until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
