Medical Emergency Fund Page for Yota

Yota is a young cat who has a large, infected wound on his elbow! We aren’t sure what happened to Yota, but it’s clear he suffered an injury at some point that wasn’t given the medical attention it needed. He was surrendered so he could get the urgent care he needs, and he was quickly brought into the Alberni BC SPCA branch so staff could help him.

The wound is so infected that he needs daily hydrotherapy, bandage changes, medications, laser treatments, and he will likely need surgery for it to fully close. That’s a lot for a little cat to go through!

Yota is very understanding when branch staff has to change his bandages or give him medication. He is just happy to spend some time with people, always trying to play with them!

This little sweetie has his whole life ahead of him and deserves to know a life where he is loved and pain-free!

Will you help Yota by donating to his care?

Personal updates for Yota will be provided to anyone who donates to his campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Yota until he’s ready for adoption. If his medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in his name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
