Medical Emergency Fund Page for Maggie

Maggie and her brother Harley were recently rescued from a terrible situation along with four cats. All the animals were in desperate need of medical care with extreme cases of oral disease, matted coats, and long overgrown nails.

Both dogs were initially very and shy and nervous with branch staff when they arrived. They were experiencing obvious pain in their mouths and avoided any touching or contact with their faces. They had their mats shaved and nails trimmed while they waited for their oral surgeries. As the pain management and antibiotics began to take effect, these sweet siblings became visibly more comfortable and started to feel safe in the shelter.

Maggie had an additional surprise for staff, she has a heart arrhythmia that put her at risk to perform her oral surgery. Despite much worry, her oral surgery was successful completed with no complications, and like Harley, her true self started to shine.

Maggie needs a few weeks of recovery time before she & Harley find their new furever home. Will you help her by donating to her care?

Personal updates for Maggie will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.

*Goal includes: surgery, medication, treatment, regular health check, and daily care for Maggie until she’s ready for adoption. If her medical costs and cost of care is less than is raised in her name, additional funds will provide care for other animals.
