Little Gingersnap is an adorable kitten with a very large hernia! He was rescued with many other cats from a hoarding situation and it was clear right away he needed help.

Since he was so small when he arrived, we had to wait until he was bigger.

His vet was initially worried that the hernia was up in Gingersnap’s diaphragm, but thankfully it isn’t! However, his surgery will be challenging due to how large this hernia is. It will be a long recovery for Gingersnap as he will need to be on cage rest for a week or so after he comes out of surgery.

Gingersnap has won the hearts of all the staff in the shelter as well as the vet clinic. He is an outgoing, energetic and sweet little guy! He did not have the best start to life, so we want to give him a chance to get the life he deserves.
