Covered in fleas and suffering from allergies, Lucario was itching her poor body raw.

Once under medical care, Lucario was carefully examined. The severe skin lesions, caused by allergies and a reaction to fleas, left her in pain and discomfort. For weeks, her medical team worked to stop the relentless itching, trailing different medications and testing for other possible causes. She’ll likely need lifelong medication and a special diet to stay healthy and comfortable.

Despite everything she’s faced, Lucario has remained friendly, loving, and playful. Her foster family has seen her sparkle and come alive. Her journey to health hasn’t been easy, but with your compassion, Lucario can continue her recovery and enjoy the happy, comfortable life she deserves.

Personal updates for Lucario will be provided to anyone who donates to her care.
