Medical Emergency Fund for Squeak

Bleeding and in pain, tiny Squeak was found alone by the roadside.

At just twelve weeks old, this sweet kitten has already suffered more than any animal should. Squeak was alone, frightened, and bleeding from his mouth, nose, and eye.

Thankfully, he was discovered by two compassionate children who recognized his need for help! They rushed him to the nearest BC SPCA. From there Squeak was taken straight to a vet for emergency care. X-rays revealed the young kitten had suffered a fractured jaw and devastating injuries to his front leg. Surgery was the only option: to repair his jaw and amputate his injured leg to relieve his pain. Squeak was put on pain medication and placed in a foster home for careful monitoring while he awaited his surgery.

Despite all he has gone through, Squeak is still a gentle, playful soul. Now healing after his surgery, he’s shown his loving foster family just how affectionate he truly is. He loves feather toys, bell balls, and curling up for snuggles.

But Squeak’s journey isn’t over. He still needs follow-up vet visits, ongoing pain management and monitoring, and eventually, a neuter surgery before he’s ready for a fresh start. Will you help Squeak recover from his traumatic injuries and get the happy, pain-free life he deserves?

Personal updates for Squeak will be provided to anyone who donates towards his care.

*Goal includes: Jaw repair, X-rays, leg amputation surgery, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Squeak until he is ready for adoption. If funds raised go above and beyond the needs of Squeak, your kind gift will help the next animal who needs urgent medical care.
