Medical Emergency Fund for Manny

Looking into Manny’s soft eyes, it’s clear this 13-year-old senior is going through a challenging time. When his beloved guardian could no longer care for him, Manny came to us to get the extra special care he needs.

The most pressing medical issue for Manny is a mass on his back end. His medical team has started him on antibiotics to treat any potential infection and reduce its size. He was also scheduled for a neuter, which could help with the mass, and, given his age, Manny has some other lumps and bumps that have been tested and thankfully aren’t harmful. Lastly, Manny needed an oral surgery to ensure his comfort in his golden years. Blood and urine tests were done ahead of both procedures to make sure he was healthy and ready for surgery.

Manny has now undergone both surgeries and is just beginning the recovery process. Through it all, he’s remained absolute gentleman. Despite all the recent change in his life and  numerous vet visits, it’s clear he’s grateful for the care he’s receiving.
