Medical Emergency Fund for Leopold
Leopold had no one to look out for him. Wandering the streets alone, this stray cat carried a painful secret—both of his upper canines were broken, their nerves exposed. No wonder he seemed so fearful when he was first brought to the BC SPCA.
It wasn’t until his neuter surgery that the full extent of his pain was discovered. While he was sedated, his medical team discovered the painful fractures in his mouth. Every bite, every yawn, every moment must have been agony. Now, Leopold needs another surgery to remove the damaged teeth and finally give him relief.
But even through the pain, he’s already starting to show his true self. With pain medication and gentle care, this once-nervous boy is leaning in for pets, seeking affection, and proving just how much love he has to give. Leopold still has a long road to recovery—but you can help him take the next step. Will you be part of his healing journey?
Personal updates for Leopold will be provided to anyone who donates towards his care.
*Goal includes: Oral surgery, medications, neuter surgery and daily care for Leopold until he is ready for adoption. If funds raised go above and beyond the needs of this feline, your kind gift will help the next animal who needs urgent medical care.
