Medical Emergency Fund for Pixie

Nine-year-old Pixie should be enjoying her golden years curled up in a warm lap, but instead, she’s in need of urgent medical care.

When this tiny Chihuahua arrived in our care, her bulging belly raised suspicions that she might be pregnant. But during her vet exam, we received even more urgent news—Pixie wasn’t expecting puppies; she had a dangerous infection called pyometra. Without emergency surgery, her life was at risk. Thankfully, Pixie pulled through, but she’s not out of the woods yet. She’s underweight and is in need of an oral surgery to deep clean her aging teeth and possibly remove a few.

Through it all, Pixie remains a sweet, cuddly gal. She’s ready to heal, but she can’t do it alone. Will you be there for Pixie and help give her the second chance she deserves?

Personal updates for Pixie will be provided to anyone who donates to her campaign.
