Wounded and without a home, Moose needs your love to heal.

Moose’s journey has been filled with challenges. After suffering a severe wound on his front leg, his condition worsened due to improper care, leading to infection and necrosis. Urgent surgery was needed to remove the dead tissue and provide him with antibiotics. With his owner unable to care for him, Moose was surrendered to his vet, leaving him in desperate need of help.

On an island where the local BC SPCA was only equipped for cats, staff worked tirelessly to find a foster home for this sweet boy. Thanks to our dedicated foster network, Moose found temporary refuge to begin his recovery. But his journey isn’t over yet. Moose still needs a longer term foster home where he can continue to heal and receive the and special care he needs.
