When Noel was found, she was in significant pain. X-rays revealed the cause: an entire shoelace lodged in her stomach, likely ingested long before she came into care, the poor girl. She urgently needed a life-saving surgery to remove the foreign object. Now on her path to recovery, Noel still needs her sutures removed, and continued care to ensure full healing.
