Medical Emergency Fund for Marley

When little Marley arrived, his cries of pain told us how much he was suffering. Struck by a car and left with a severely injured back end, his life changed in an instant. But even as he hobbled into our care, his tail has never stopped wagging.

His dedicated medical team quickly started him on regular pain medication to keep him as comfortable as possible while they took x-rays to assess the damage. A special surgery is necessary to repair the damage and give Marley the best chance at healing. His journey to recovery is far from over, but this happy-go-lucky little fellow is a fighter and always does his best to put on a brave face.

Despite the trauma he has experienced, Marley’s sweet and trusting nature shines. He eagerly greets everyone he meets, his excitement and joy are hard to ignore. At the hospital, staff couldn’t help but smile as Marley hobbled over, tail wagging furiously, to say his hellos. Marley is now in foster care awaiting his surgery date, finding comfort in the resident English lab, Roxy. The two were instant friends and it’s clear to see the support she’s giving him—the two are inseparable.
